One-Year Full-time Lecturer Position in Chinese Language

to begin September 2010; non-renewable.

Review of applications will begin January 15th, and will continue until the position is filled.

Responsibilities include Chinese language instruction at all levels
and curriculum development; department and university service; 3
courses per semester.

Requirements: native or near‑native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and
English; experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching Chinese at
the college level in the U.S.; demonstrated commitment to language
teaching and curriculum development.

M.A. required; preference given to applicants with special training
in Chinese language teaching, applied linguistics, foreign language
pedagogy, or a related field.
