The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures invites
applicants for a one-year position in Chinese at the level of Visiting
Assistant Professor, beginning August, 2008.  A Ph.D. in hand and
college-level teaching in the United States are preferred; native or
near native command of both Chinese and English are required.  The area
of specialization is open; the teaching load is five courses per year.
