SCHENECTADY CITY SCHOOLS (New York State) is seeking a US certified
Chinese teacher for its world languages department in grades 6-8.
Candidates must have status to work legally in the U.S. and have
teaching certification in Chinese from at least one state--preferably
New York State.  Candidates must possess at least an Advanced Mid on
the Oral Proficiency Interview (ACTFL) and be able to teach Pin Yin and
simplified characters.

We have a progressive world languages department by offering both
Chinese and Arabic in addition to French and Spanish.  We are also an
International Baccalaureate (IB) school district.
