Online Instructor Position Available
Chinese Language

Gifted LearningLinks is the online distance-learning program of the Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University.

We currently offer over 100 courses to students in grades three to
twelve, including enrichment, honors and AP®. The North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools accredit CTD as a Special Function
School.

Enrichment courses for grades 3-8 are three months in duration,
beginning Sept. 15, February 15 and June 15.  Beginning in the fall of
2008 we will introduce rolling admissions for our honors and AP®
courses.  Honors and AP courses are nine months in duration, but
students may accelerate.

We are currently looking for a part-time online instructor for the
2008-09 academic year to teach Chinese to gifted students in grades
6-12 at the honors/AP level.  Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin and
English, be legally eligible for employment and hold a US teaching
certificate.  Online teaching experience is a plus.
