The Asian Languages and Cultures Department at Hobart and William Smith
Colleges seeks applicants for an anticipated two-year temporary
position in Chinese language and culture starting Fall 2008.  The
candidate must have training in undergraduate Chinese language
instruction and will be provided a trained teaching assistant.  The
five-course load also includes one to two undergraduate English
language courses in their specialized area of Chinese culture.  PhD in
hand by August 2008 is preferred, but advanced ABDs will be given
serious consideration. Review of applications begins immediately, and
