Georgetown University
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures, Georgetown
University, seeks applications for a one-year full-time renewable
position in Chinese language beginning Fall, 2009. This is a teaching
intensive non-tenure-track position. Candidates are expected to have a
graduate degree in Chinese language pedagogy or related field and prior
experience teaching college-level Chinese in North America; also native
or near-native proficiency in Chinese to teach introductory,
intermediate and advanced level language courses. Duties include active
involvement in teamwork and program affairs, such as conducting
proficiency examinations for Georgetown students. Send letter of
application, curriculum vitae, 3 letters of recommendation and a 30
