Elon University seeks a part-time visiting
professor of Chinese for 2009-10. Two sections of Chinese in fall (100
and 200 level) and two sections in spring.

MA in Chinese or related discipline required, in hand by August 2009. Send c.v. and statement of teaching philosophy to languages@elon.edu.

Since this is a part-time position, pay is roughly $9000 per semester.

Teacher needs:

1.      Immediate High or above results on ACTFL OPI and WPI Mandarin Chinese tests (or ability to take test asap and pass)
