The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University

Asian Languages and Cultures

The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures at Macalester College
announces an opening for a 4th Year Chinese Instructor, beginning Fall,
2008.

The successful candidate will create a brand-new course, a result of
the growing interest for Chinese language courses on campus.  The
course will be held three hours per week, 3:30-4:30 p.m.,
Monday-Wednesday-Friday, each semester.  Two additional hours will need
to be scheduled for office hours, each semester.

Macalester College invites applications for a Native Speaker/Chinese
Lab Instructor for the 2008-09 academic year.  Candidates must have
native or near-native fluency in Chinese.  A Bachelor's degree or
